Members receive a copy of the research journal and can consult digital copies of all past issues.

SIHR holds both a spring and a fall meeting which is open to all members. In addition to many meeting specific events, all meetings include a Friday night "Meet & Greet" and a Saturday business meeting followed by member research presentations, guest speakers and a group dinner. Participate in regional chapter meetings and attend special events for members. Currently a chapter exists in Toronto, Quebec and Ottawa-Gatineau.
Consult the member directory to find and correspond with other members sharing similar research interests.
Ask questions and have discussions with other members on the SIHR email forum hosted by Yahoo groups.
Advertising free website. The SIHR site has absolutely no banners, pop-ups or deceitful advertising links.
